My name is Diego Valcarce and I am from A Coruña, a medium sized city in the northwest of Spain; in fact, this city has a lot of interesting things:

• It is home to the longest boardwalk of Europe (13km).
• It has the older roman lighthouse actively working (see it at the end of the figure).
• It has a interesting demography: it is one of the densest cities in world and the reason is no other than that it has the highest average height of buildings of Spain (over 5 floors).
• Riazor is the stadium of the local team Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña (team known for its glorius years as the “Super Depor”).

I have many interests, but mainly:

• Coding, FLOSS and that stuff.
• Lifestyle and freedom.
• Economics and politics (from an ancap POV).
• I work with data, so I must say that I am also interested in data science, analysis and engineering.
• Europe in general, Spain, Galicia and Castilla in particular.
• I consider myself a runner enthusiast, you can follow me on Strava :)

Projects I am currently involved in:

• Innogando: a startup that builds technology for cows.

• I am currently building a homelab!

• I am creating a running smartwatch too!

• I have a life-project of acquiring as many licenses as possible, currently:

  • I have motorbike + car driving license
  • HAREC

  My next licenses in mind are truck and boats license. As every license is kind of expensive, it takes me some time to get everything done (I wish I was rich).
